Escrow and arbitration policy

When you hire with escrow on, the accepted bid is charged and held by YouCanDo. The pro is paid when you approve the work, or automatically 72 hours after completion if no dispute is open.

Open a dispute within 72 hours of completion. The escrow is frozen, an arbitrator reads both statements, the photos and the chat log, and rules within three business days: release, split, partial refund or full refund.

Cases over $400, insurance claims and repeat offenders are escalated to our legal desk. The escrow fee (2%) is paid by the pro, never by the client.
