What does it cost me to post?
Nothing. Clients pay no listing fee and no markup on the bid. The platform is funded by pro subscriptions and a 2% escrow fee charged to the crew.
Can they give my building a certificate of insurance?
Licensed crews issue a COI the same day, naming your building and management company. Ask for it in chat as soon as you hire — most doormen will not let movers in without one.
How do stairs and walk-ups change the price?
Crews price by hour, and stairs slow everything down. Above the third floor most add a third mover at about $60 an hour, which usually ends up cheaper than the extra time.
What happens if something is damaged?
Photograph anything fragile before loading. Escrow stays frozen while a dispute runs, and licensed crews carry cargo and liability cover for items they packed themselves.
Why is the end of the month more expensive?
Most leases turn over on the 1st, so demand triples in the last three days of the month. Expect around $50 more, or book mid-month for the lowest bids.
